The Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum

The Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum, also known by its acronym LANN Museum, is a museum in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. It exhibits the private collection of paintings of the late Ecuadorian businessman, Luis Noboa Naranjo, which represents a significant sample of the most important contemporary Ecuadorian painters, with whom he had cultivated friendship. It was created on January 25, 2006 by Álvaro Noboa, heir to the collection. The museum consists of 10 rooms that present 97 works of art. Likewise, the private office that the businessman had on the first floor of the Noboa Banana Exporter is exhibited. Among the works of art in his collection, the three murals by Manuel Rendón, the paintings of the Quiteña School, those of Oswaldo stand out. Guayasamín, Eduardo Kingman, Humberto Moré, Carlos Catasse, Ricardo Montesinos, Segundo Espinel, Luis Miranda, Oswaldo Viteri and others.

 

The LANN Museum offers guided tour programs for the city's schools and colleges, including permanent public exhibitions, temporary exhibitions and painting competitions.
